League Overview:
Champions Training Academy is excited to host our Winter Indoor Soccer League, designed for young athletes ages 5 to 12 who want to stay active and continue developing their soccer skills during the winter months. Teams will play 1 game per week, and games will take place on Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays inside our indoor training facility in Pleasant Hill. Games are played on our large brand-new turf area that is designed for indoor soccer. There are no practice times, but we plan to offer a couple clinics led by our soccer instructor.

What is Futsal?
Futsal is a fast-paced, indoor version of soccer played on a smaller, hard-surface court with a smaller, low-bounce ball. Each team has five players on the court, including a goalkeeper. The smaller space and quick tempo of the game encourage creativity, precise ball control, quick decision-making, and teamwork—skills that translate directly to outdoor soccer success.

Why Play Futsal at Champions?

3. Goalkeeper Rules

  • Goalkeepers may use their hands only inside the penalty area.

  • Goalkeepers have 4 seconds to release the ball when in possession.
